Jacqueline’s creative journey has been shaped by a life of travel, exploration, and an ever-growing fascination with the intersection of history, culture, and art. As a child, her summers were spent exploring Europe—visiting family across Portugal, France, and beyond, and immersing herself in the landscapes and histories of the UK, where she studied and worked in England. Born in Quebec and raised in Ontario, Jacqueline later moved to Toronto to pursue a degree in History.

While her initial passion was rooted in history, it wasn’t long before her heart was drawn to the arts, and she shifted her focus to Museum and Art Gallery Management and Curation. During this time, Jacqueline also began experimenting with graphic design, digital illustration, and painting, discovering an artistic voice that would evolve into her true calling.

Now based in the stunning town of Jasper, Alberta, Jacqueline’s paintings are deeply influenced by the breathtaking wildlife and landscapes of the Rocky Mountains. Her work is an exploration of color and form, where structure and composition meet the energy of nature. With a bold and vibrant palette, Jacqueline’s paintings draw the viewer in, using subtle color blending and dynamic shapes to evoke the essence of the natural world around her.

Inspired by her love for puzzles, stained glass, mosaics, mandalas, and the intricate patterns found in textiles, Jacqueline’s style has evolved into something uniquely her own. These influences manifest in the rhythmic, geometric quality of her compositions, where each piece becomes a mosaic of color and pattern that transcends traditional representation. Her work moves beyond the literal, seeking instead to capture the spirit, movement, and personality of the wildlife she portrays—rendered in a style that is both graphic and fluid, bold and subtle.
